Plots in the 5th season will include a "Sunny" take on the current economic crisis, including a warped look at the mortgage crisis and Ponzi schemes. There will also be a "Sunny" take on the Octomom as Dee tries to get pregnant with as many babies as possible, and a look back at the gang when they were "Sunny Babies". Season five will also see The Waitress getting married, and there will be a plot where the gang enters a frat house beer pong tournament.
