Seperate and not equal....
After the joy of a wedding and the adoption of a baby came arguments that couldn't be resolved, leading Angelique Naylor to file for divorce. That left her fighting both the woman she married in Massachusetts and the state of Texas, which says a union granted in a state where same-sex marriage is legal can't be dissolved with a divorce in a state where it's not.A state appeals court is scheduled to hear arguments in the Dallas case on Wednesday.
The Dallas men, who declined to be interviewed for this story and are known only as J.B. and H.B. in court filings, had an amicable separation, with no disputes on separation of property and no children involved, said attorney Peter Schulte, who represents J.B. The couple, who married in 2006 in Massachusetts and separated two years later, simply want an official divorce, Schulte said.
The drawn-out process has been frustrating for Naylor, who says she didn't file for divorce as an equal rights statement — she just wants to get on with her life.
"We didn't ask for a marriage; we simply asked for the courtesy of divorce," said Naylor, 39, of Austin, who married Sabina Daly in Massachusetts in 2004.
That year, Massachusetts became the first state to let same-sex couples tie the knot. Now, Connecticut, Iowa, New Hampshire, Vermont and the District of Columbia also allow them.
Gay and lesbian couples who turn to the courts when they break up are getting mixed results across the nation. A Pennsylvania judge last month refused to divorce two women who married in Massachusetts, while New York grants such divorces even though the state doesn't allow same-sex marriage.

Your analysis is spot on Patrick, and my feeling is that one way to help team discipline is to rein in the budding superstar Aaron Rodgers. No one complained when Jermichael was stepped on firmly in his rookie year, but the habit of creating untouchables is strong among NFL fans. I attribute it to Fantasy Football, but thats just because Im old.

lol Yes, I knew Star Wars would be brought up at some point, especially coming from someone in my age range. Plain and simple: Star Wars is pretty good, but Im not nearly as infatuated with it as most and its just not something that would every even rank in my top 10 or even top 20 favorites. For me the trilogy is just good, not great. Iconic, indeed, just not my thing as much as others.

Dallass Hall of Fame coach Tom Landry originally did not approve of the appellation of Americas Team. He felt that it would give opposing teams extra incentive to play harder. Eventually he gave in and actually came to like the name.[7]

I remember those days when i almost get mad to find one free survey site that really pay us without charging a fee. The fact is that there are so many survey sites in internet who actually charges a registration fee. I tell you what, run as far as you can, if they ask you money to join their survey site. Any legimate survey site, will not ask you money to join them<!They actually have to pay us if we join them. Some people do not understand this, and they pay and later they suffer and get frustrated. So is there really any Survey site that pays us? The Answer is, Yes. I am personally getting paid by a Survey site and please find the below website and register yourself for free,

Regarding Pujols, for a while he was 8th on the team in OPS+ among regulars and semi-regulars. Now at 132, he's passed Colby Rasmus (130) and is closing in on Yadier Molina (at 134, he's having a heck of a comeback season after a down year in 2010).

Boston does NOT win the division by 20 games. Either Philly or Toronto closes within 20. As far as the NBA Finals, Cleveland, Miami, Atlanta, and Orlando are all legit contenders. Again, I think Bostons odds are less than 50/50 even if the big 3 stay healthy. I think Cleveland vs. Boston vs. Orlando is a toss up right now. If Shaq stays healthy and develops chemistry with LeBron, I like Cleveland which is very tough to say for a Wizards fan.

Bob Neumeier had the biggest moment during NBCs and Versus coverage of the Kentucky Derby. Neumeier immediately interviewed Barry Irwin, the managing partner of winner Animal Kingdom. Neumeier asked why he recently hired trainer Graham Motion to train the derby winner. Irwin, in one of those rare moments of extreme honesty, said, "I was sick and tired of having other trainers lie to me," Neumeier was slightly caught off guard, but followed up by asking what trainers have been dishonest. Irwin smirked and said, plenty of em" and maybe realizing he had said too much, Irwin said, "gotta go"

Think about that printing, materials must improve but the idea. Why would you need China to make things. If this is outlandish, consider print on demand. We are already there. Printing objects wipes out most of the labor, and if the socialists want socialism, I dont, well maybe this could make it more palatable, only why reward the retarded by allowing them infinite prgeny? Hell we have plenty of stupid people, I can almost sympathize with the big boys for wanting to wipe them out, they deserve it. Hell this is what is destroying California. Think about it.

Borrowing and then lending more billions of dollars to small businesses, only postpones the inevitable. No one has ever borrowed and spent their way out of debt. Until the national debt (now at $14 trillion) and personal debts are reduced to manageable figures, the recession will continue.President Obama is doing what President Franklin D. Roosevelt did. After the stock market crashed in 1929, and business and bank failures increased, and unemployment reached 25% of the workforce, FDR started borrowing and spending money into the economy. He started that in 1933, but by 1940 17% were still unemployed. It is now admitted by some authorities, that had FDR done nothing, debts would have been written off and the economy would have recovered in 2 or 3 years.

as another side note. The internet as a whole should never go down. The way it was designed by DARPA, even if top-level nodes are taken out the network will update itself with its nearest neighbors. Its actually pretty cool to learn about. Your system can be cut off from the network, but the network itself is dynamic.

An implanted microchip has already been experimented with out west. You would just have to wave your hand over a scanner at the grocery store to pay your bill. Right now, most people slide a credit card through a scanner with their right hand, whats the difference?

IMO, the reason that the Steelers are so good against the pass is their PASS RUSH. Their CB's & Clark are nothing special (Polamalu is another story). The biggest matchup in this game imo will be the GB O-line vs. the PIT D-line/rush LB's. If Rodgers burns them early, and forces LeBeau to change his strategy, GB prob. comes out on top. However, if PIT's zone blitzes/overload rushes etc. are regularly harassing Rodgers, PIT prob. gets a 7th ring.

@lionelSo Pidjin is a bit disrespectful to gays, but you dont have to be a drama queen about it..Im sure not all the characters in this comic share Pidjins views, so lighten up..Would it have been better if we had gone with the title Equal Opportunity Invader ? Also Pidjin could have said such a fairy but his small black heart is far too hateful for that.

Nothing ever changes. As Mao said, "power comes out of the barrel of a gun." if the people dont arm themselves they are overrun. If they do arm themselves, or resist, they are exterminated. Theres a long list of indiginous peoples from every continent on earth who have faced, and been destroyed by, this challange throughout recorded history. Perhaps when the world is finally fully civilized this sort of thing will beome a distant memory, but I have given up hope that this will ever happen

#258 Praetorian, dont blame the economic and housing mess and recession on the Republicans and Bush. Your Jimmy Carters and Bill Clintons Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Greenspans protracted low interest rates started this economic and financial disaster, and Obama has contributed to make it the debacle of epic proportions it is today by adding trillions to the deficit since his 1st day in office. When the Bush Administration tried to reform and regulate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, your heroes Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and new senator from Illinois, Hussein Obama, blocked it. Bush lost the surplus because of Katrina, Iraq and Afghanistan and the creation of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and border security programs from the 911 Commission. Since Obamas 1st day, hes added trillions for what? To prop up companies that should have been allowed to go bankrupt in order to start clean and fresh. Instead, he put the big hand of govt to take over companies he wanted beholden to him and his party, rather than fixing the economic problem and allowing capitalism and the free market system to cure the problem as they have since the industrial revolution.

As a report on violence at Town Hall meetings this summer documented that 7 of the 10 incidents were perpetrated by Obama supporters and union members on Obama critics, your talk about “hostility towards thosewho have differing views†shows that you are unequivocally on the reality-oriented side of the aisle. Not.

Blurred vision, dizziness, dry mouth, sleeplessness, irritability, stomach upset or constipation may occur the first few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you experience: chest pain, nervousness, pounding heart, difficulty urinating, mood changes, breathing difficulties, swelling. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

These descriptions reek of bias. Each side is rigging the experiment by defining the outcome in termsâ€â€affectionate, tolerant, confusedâ€â€that validate its own ideology. At one extreme is Connors crude sexism. Fathers masculinize their sons, mothers civilize them, he says. At the other extreme is the AAPs pseudoscientific liberalism, which holds that obtaining donor sperm or arranging for a surrogate motherâ€â€like finding an accepting adoption agency or confronting emotional pain and restrictions imposed by heterosexismâ€â€is just another challenge facing gays who want to be parents. Connor oversimplifies nature; the AAP treats it as morally irrelevant.

Thanks for the guidelines you have contributed here. Another thing I would like to convey is that personal computer memory demands generally go up along with other improvements in the technological know-how. For instance, whenever new generations of cpus are introduced to the market, there is certainly usually a similar increase in the dimensions calls for of both laptop or computer memory and also hard drive space. This is because software program operated by these processor chips will inevitably boost in power to use the new engineering.

174. BC: It wasn't her case, so why would a very experienced prosecutor be so adamant that they were guilty if there wasn't a lot of stuff, apparently much more than was admitted at trial, supporting it?
Posted on September 23, 2011 12:27 AM
Great blog post. The things i would like to add is that computer memory has to be purchased when your computer cannot cope with that which you do with it. One can add two RAM boards containing 1GB each, as an example, but not certainly one of 1GB and one having 2GB. One should always check the car makers documentation for the PC to make sure what type of storage is essential.

Robert the constitutional reference that you are referring to denies the government involvement in how a religion operates or organizes. That is the whole reason for establishing settlements in America to escape the kings ruling of religion. Marriage is defined and created by God. Not man. If it were man made then man could establish how it is governed and regulated. Our nation was formed and based on biblical principles. Everything in the constitution has a biblical reference. The only ones who deny this are those who believe that it is a living, evolving document. Check the real history of America and not the re-written history of those who want you to think as they do.

The heart of your writing while appearing agreeable in the beginning, did not really settle very well with me personally after some time. Somewhere throughout the paragraphs you managed to make me a believer unfortunately only for a short while. I however have a problem with your leaps in assumptions and one would do well to help fill in all those breaks. In the event you actually can accomplish that, I could definitely end up being amazed.

The AAP shifts the burden to conservatives by defining their presumption as a prediction that big differences will show up in studies. The question, according to the AAP, is whether there is any empiric support for these assumptions. Since those differences havent shown up yet, the AAP concludes that the presumption has been falsified.
