On July 4th, Todd P will be hosting the second day of the Woodsist / Captured Tracks Festival with Vivian Girls, Thee Oh Sees, Kurt Vile, Woods, the Beets, Dum Dum Girls, Tyvek and a whole lot more. Advance tickets can be bought here.

(As a note, today is the first day of the Woosist/Captured Tracks Festival and its been moved from 979 Broadway Backyard to the Market Hotel due to rain. The line-up features Crystal Stilts, caUSE co-MOTION!, Psychedlic Horseshit, Blank Dogs and others.)

Meanwhile, the Vivian Girls will be dropping their sophomore album, Everything Goes Wrong, on September 8th. They'll start a tour to support the album on August 25th at Brooklyn's Death By Audio. Also, expect to hear cuts from the album when they play as part of the Whitney Museum's summer music series that will also feature The Walkmen.
