In the spring, the Super Furry Animals released their ninth studio album, Dark Days / Light Years. I'm digging the album, but not loving it as much as other recent efforts like 2007's Hey Venus or 2003's Phantom Power.
The band have three U.S. shows planned: September 11th at the HighLine Ballroom in New York City, September 12th at Maxwell's in Hoboken, and September 13th at the "All Tomorrow's Parties" festival at the Kutshers Country Club & Resort in Upstate New York.
Tickets to the HIghLine Ballroom show go on sale this Friday at noon.
