The Obama campaign is using The National's "Fake Empire" in an official campaign commercial. The band have already firmly endorsed Obama, and are selling a "Mr November" t-shirt where 100% of the purchase goes to support the Obama's campaign.
In a related story, The National are headlining New York Magazine's 40th Anniversary party at the Hammerstein Ballroom on October 10th. Also on the bill are Grizzly Bear and Stella. TIckets can be purchased here.......
