The annual New York Comedy Festival will begin the day after the elections, November 5th, and last through November 9th. While most of this year's announced participants aren't political comics, I'm sure their laughter will help continue the city's good mood or help comfort some extremely sad locals.
This year, the New York Comedy Festival will feature performances from Sarah Silverman, Katt Williams, Louis CK, Carlos Mencia, the insane Tracy Morgan, E! The Soup's Joel McHale, The Office's BJ Novak, and a round table discussion with the writers of The Daily Show with John Stewart, amongst others.
