One of my favorite things about summer is seeing what oldies/has-beens decide to go on a package tour of amphitheatres. So far, quite a few of these tours have been announced. Which one do you think is the best summer package tour:
>>Steve Miller Band / Joe Cocker
>>Maroon 5 / Counting Crows / Sara Bareilles
>>The Allman Brothers Band / Bob Weir & RatDog
>>Journey / Heart / Cheap Trick
>>Poison / Dokken / Sebastian Bach
>>Jethro Tull / Peter Frampton
>>The Regeneration Tour: A Flock Of Seagulls, ABC, Belinda Carlisle, Naked Eyes, The Human League
>>Chicago / Doobie Brothers
>>The Police / Elvis Costello
>>Bell Biv DeVoe / Big Daddy Kane / Doug E. Fresh / M.C. Lyte / Slick Rick
>>Boston / Styx
>>Boyz II Men / Morris Day & The Time
>>B.B. King / Willie Nelson
Am I missing any..........

Boyz II Men and Morris day is a sick tour. I would see Costello without the Police.

Counting Crows are neither "oldies" nor "has-beens," they certainly do not belong on that list.

In the words of Art Bergmann, the Counting Crows are a "never was, trying to be a has-been, has beens on the comeback trail."
I'm thinking Police and Elvis at the Gorge.
