R.E.M. are scheduled to make an appearance on NBC's Today show on Tuesday, April 1st.
Originally, the band was scheduled to perform in studio, but the three song performance (and maybe more not for the televised audience) has been moved to the outdoor plaza at Rockefeller Center. The band will perform two songs during the eight o'clock hour and a third one during the nine o'clock hour.
Also, R.E.M. will appeara and perform on The Colbert Report on Wednesday evening.
And finally, Sirius Satellite Radio, which already has stations solely dedicated to the music of Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Jay Z, Garth Brooks, Grateful Dead and Elvis Presley, will be launching Radio R.E.M.(channel 18), an entire station dedicated to the bands music, live shows, interviews and everything. The station will only be active for one week before returning to their regular programming.......
