"If Jesse Jackson were not black, he wouldn't be in the race."
- Geraldine Ferraro, April 15, 1988, Washington Post
It looks like the race-baiting comments made by Clinton advisor Geraldine Ferraro about Obama are quite similiar to comments she made about Jesse Jackson during his 1988 failed Presidential bid (Great find from Politico.com). So, so pathetic. The Clinton camp really needs to axe her......

Is she wrong? Was obama not pole-vaulted to the top driven mostly by his race? I'm not a fan of this woman, obviously, but she had the guts to say the truth and respect that.

Umm actually Obama was "pole-vaulted to the top" due to his speaking abilities, his opposition to the war, and amazing grassroots campaign.
If race was a factor then Al Sharpton, Carol Mosley Braun, Doug Wilder, and Jesse Jackson wouldve all been president.

My best friend told me about this site. I thrust him, so I opened my Internet-browser and went surfing! After reading these news I was totally impressed by this article, even if it’s not true it’s written in a way that makes you believe it.
