Lit Lounge, the dive bar on 2nd Avenue between 5th and 6th Street, is celebrating their sixth anniversary tonight, Friday, February 22nd! Among the special guests performing are Blood on the Wall and Sian Alice (UK).
Over the years, Lit has hosted Elliott Smith's final NYC performance (see above photo taken by FlyButter), as well live sets from Mondo Generator, GIbby Haynes, The Morning After, The Tall Boys, Alabama Black Snakes and Holy Ghost. They've hosted some of the most debaucherous after-parties I can't remember, including one's for The White Stripes, The Strokes, Mastadon, and Queens of the Stone Age, as well as dj sets from Interpol, Orange 9mm, Fischerspooner, Nick Zinner, Justine D, Leo Fitzpatrick and Kid America.
And let's also remember that Lit owners Erik Foss and Max Brennan are rad motherfucker. Congrats to Lit.....

To be honest with you, I have never written any comments or posts in the Internet. This is my first time. Why did I decide to post? The answer is simple – all information here is so amazing and interesting that it’s hard to imagine someone wouldn’t comment it.
