COMEDY CENTRAL | Colbert Report & Daily Show Return

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report returned to television last night and it was pretty awful. Both shows spent a majority of their time playing old-clips and talking about the strike. It wasn't really funny and you know that it can only get work.

I kind of wish neithre of them would have returned without their writers, especially considering that they both have two of the best writing staffs on television.........

Steve:

Completely agree. I'll stick with Family Guy (or, god forbid, a book) until the strike is over.

Landon:

i doubt either had much of a choice in the matter.

and please, check your spelling.

are you kidding? while i missed daily show, colbert was excellent on his first night back. i laughed pretty much nonstop. i honestly haven't seen any other post-strike episodes so far (they're on the DVR), but that first colbert back was great.

and check your spelling. haha.

Don’t know what to say. At first it looked good but now I’m very disappointed in this kind of information
