It's the first night of Hanukah/chanukah/chanukkah! Light the menorah and get yourself to New Jersey to see Yo La Tengo play the first of eight special shows at Maxwells in Hoboken. The only known opening act for any of the shows so far is Versus, who will be one of supposedly two opening acts on December 5th.
Acts that are rumored (including some that seem completely unlikely) to be opening for Yo La Tengo include David Cross, Cat Power, Ted Leo and The Pharmacists, Bon Iver, Elvis Perkins, Sean Lennon, Red Kross, Thurston Moore, The Clean......
