KEVIN DuBROW (QUIET RIOT) | In Memoriam, 1955 - 2007

quiet_riot.jpg
The voice behind "Cum on Feel the Noize" (originally written and recorded by English band Slade in 1973) and "Metal Health (Bang Your Head)" has passed away.

Quiet Riot frontman Kevin DuBrow was found dead in his Las Vegas home on Sunday by friends, according to a report on thevegaseye.com. In 1983 DuBrow led Quiet Riot into the history books when the band's debut album, "Metal Health," became the first heavy metal album to top the Billboard Album charts. A cause of death was not known at press time. DuBrow was 52.

Cool Quiet Riot fact: The original band was started by Randy Rhoads in 1975, but broke up in 1979 when Rhoads went on to join Ozzy Osbourne's band
