Ted Nugent, the ultra-conservative rocker who moonlights as a commentator for the Fox News Channel and has engaged in sexual acts with minors, went on a rant the other day saying "Obama, he’s a piece of shit. I told him to suck on my machine gun. Hey Hillary, youmight want to ride one of these into the sunset, you worthless bitch.” (Thanks Lizzy)......

So you agree, that self-righteous musicians like nugent should really keep their mouth shut on stage about politics. Nice to see you turning over a new leaf, now just replace this moron with eddie vedder, de la rocha, and so on...

ROFL! Well all I can say is, he has a right to his opinion, no matter how lame and asinine
his comments are. I think it is interesting though that the jeers seem to hold their own up against the cheers.
Isn't it ironic that he holds a commentating gig at Fox News, the same outlet that made a whole outcry about De La Rocha's comments. Let's see Hannity attack this one. I wouldn't bet the house on it though. Right, Telex?

How was i defending him? I find the conservative morons are just as bad (almost) as the liberal ones. Don't paint him as a regular fox new commentator, he does celebrity-guest type commentating and hannity will condemn this, I would take that bet. Not that i'm a huge fan of sean hannity, but he's honest in his convictions.

I wouldn't hold my breath Telex. And lots of whackos are honest in their convictions. That's why they are morons!

There's a pretty big difference between the Eddie Vedders of the world and what Nugent did here.
As self-righteous as many left-leaning musicians can be, I can't personally remember any of them ever so-blatantly suggesting that violence was appropriate. Vedder et al loudly criticize the Bush administration, and talk a lot about impeachment, etc., but to my knowledge they've never suggested that Bush should be shot.
That said, I have no problems with celebrities (left-leaning or right-leaning) speaking out on politics. I can easily tune it out either way, and I'm smart enough to make my own decisions without worrying what Eddie Vedder or Charleston Heston are telling me to think.

This is first time in my life when I don’t know what to say. After reading all comments I’m shocked. What has happened with our society, with our young generation? They are commenting terrible information, their lexis sounds terrible. Is that true, that only words they know is “cool”, “cute” and cussing words? What are they thinking of? It’s better not to think about it, it’s too sad
