Our favorite Scientologist, that would be Beck, is back with a digital only single. Here's the word on it:
Beck is back at it. On Tuesday 8/21 he will release a self-produced new track called "Timebomb", which for one week will be available only at iTunes. The following week the track will be available at all other digital music retail."Timebomb" is the first new music from Beck since The Information, which was released in October 2006. The lyric of "Timebomb" echoes some of the dark themes from that album but is packaged in digital gris gris thunder as only Beck can do it. The track features Beck on vocals and keyboards, Brian LeBarton on keys and guitar, and a whole gang of studio visitors on back-up vocals. Beck currently has no plans for other releases, full album or otherwise.

Beck is working on his "first ever" remix of another band's song. The song? Dr. Dog's "The Girl." It's gonna be released as a 7" on their label, Park The Van
It was part of an article about them on the terrible website of jambase.com. Good article, but I'm not linking because last time I tried that my comment was never posted.

That website is off point. Beck remixed an Air song a couple years ago. Dr. Dog is sick. So's Beck. Should be awesome.
