HARRY POTTER | The Deathly Hallows, Book Seven

On Saturday, at 12:01am, the final installment of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series was released. In its first twenty-four hours available at bookstores, it sold an estimated 8.3 million copies! That's more than 300,000 copies in sales per hour or more than 5,000 a minute. Insane.

And yes, I finished the book this weekend and it was fabulous. That's all I'll say for now....

telex:

There is no way you finished a 1,000 page book in less than 2 days. You either had access to a pre-release or are lying?

I bought the book Saturday monring and finished it on Sunday night. Spent most of the weekend reading it. I don't want to post any spoilers yet and am still soaking most of it in. Will write a full review in a day or two.....

telex, why would jason lie about something like that?? if course he finished it!! you don't have to agree with any of his politics, but you can't deny that he is a harry potter fanatic. and by the way, i, too, finished the book last night and it was a great, great read.

Telex:

Duly impressed, I don't have the attention span for that volume of straight reading, which is probably why I've seen all the movies but haven't read a page of the books.

Tovar:

I guess this would explain Telex's positions on certain issues. He should really read more. :)

telex:

Tovar...I didn't say I do not read, in fact, I consider myself an avid reader, just don't have the time/attention span for children's books (though i love the movies). M
Gwen - I was kidding!

Tovar:

I was just joking, Telex. Everyone knows you read. Hence the, :)
