The last time I saw AC/DC, it was at the Roseland Ballroom and it was one of the most awesome shows ever. Brian Johnson may be an arena rocker, but he knows how to work a small room.
Tomorrow, July 17th, Johnson and his AC/DC band mate, bassist Cliff Williams will play B.B. Kings in Manhattan for a "Classic Rock Cares" tour benefiting the John Entwistle Foundation, which raises money for "free music education and instruments for underprivileged children through the public library system." In addition we have also raised money for other charities including the Red Cross, Florida Hurricane Relief Fund and many others. Tickets are $75.
The AC/DC men will be joined by guitarist Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad, former Deep Purple front man, Joe Lynn Turner, and John Entwistle Band drummer, Steve Luongo.........
