white stripes vs. the arcade fire is just straight up bad planning. The rest of the conflicts are acceptable, still deciding whether to go to this or not.

Most of these conflicts have clear winners (Blonde Redhead, Muse, LCD, Bjork, RyG, Decemberists), but still, they suck. Especially since it means only seeing 3-4 bands per day, which makes for a horribly weak "festival". And Arcade Fire vs. White Stripes is just plain stupid. Completely inexcusable.
