Who would have thunk that Broken Social Scene would end up opening for Feist? Well, after two very sold out shows at Town Hall in New York City, for which Grizzly Bear opened, the Candian songstress has announced another area show.
This time she headlines a summer show at McCarren Park Pool with the Broken Social Scene opening on August 29th. Tickets are $29 and on sale this Friday at noon. A limited number of pre-sale tickets are available here...........

Or maybe its that they're all really good at what they do and reliable for the NYC music scene info? You can go to any NYC music based blog for insider info, it's a matter of writing style, music tastes, posting frequency...etc.
