Rob Sheffield will be reading from his debut book, Love Is A Mix Tape, tonight, Wednesday, May 30th at the Court Street Barnes & Noble (106 Court St, at State St) in downtown Brooklyn. The magic happens at 7 pm.
Speaking of books, this weekend is the big national publishing convention at the Jacob Javits Center. We're involved in a bit of shindig going down at Bar 13 on Friday, June 1st from 5pm to 10pm. The event will feature a late night live set from Harry & The Potters and is absolutely FREE. The roof deck will be open, we got lots of give-aways and drink specials all night. Come out and celebrate literacy........
