My friend, what about WFUV, WFMU, and WNYC? I think you meant to say New York "commercial" radio sucks. I'm not sure how the return of K-Rock will change that though.

107.1 the peak is not completely unlistenable, compared to most other fm stations and opie and anthony are enteraining in the morning when I am not yet capable of intelligent thought. However, I'm sure the PC gestapo will run them off the air pretty soon.

It is a little better that KROCK is back - does that mean they won't talk about sports and bullshit all day during the weekdays now? Tho i must admit, freeFM on the weekends was pretty good - they play a lot of music w/o commercials.

Don't forget WNYU and WSOU (if you can get it). New York has lots of great radio, better than the rest of the country. Please stop shilling Sirius. The government will soon get involved in satellite radio and it too will go downhill...FAST.

NY radio suck any good feed doesn't even come from the city it comes from Long Island or Jersey. NY Radio has never been good and never will be. To commercial and too corporate. I miss WDRE from the 90's that was a good station but again it was from Long Island and you could barely get the signal. WSOU great station but it's a Jersey Station and what made it good was the fact that it was the only College Radio station you could get. WSOU Pirate Radio get you metal on boys and girls.
